Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds or credits may be issued for purchases made on polarcenterplus.com (the “Platform”) provided by Polar Center Plus (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy applies alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Important: Many of our products are digital educational services (online courses, subscriptions, downloadable materials). As soon as access is granted, you benefit from the content immediately. For that reason, refunds are limited as described below, subject to any non‑waivable consumer rights that apply in your province/territory or country.


1) Scope

This policy covers purchases of:

  • Subscriptions (Starter, Pro, Expert)
  • Standalone courses and course bundles
  • Live workshops/webinars (virtual events)
  • Add‑ons (e.g., certificates, datasets, project reviews)

This policy does not cover:

  • Gift cards or promo codes (non‑refundable once issued)
  • Third‑party products/services purchased via links or partners (refer to the partner’s policy)

2) Definitions

  • Billing period: the recurring term for subscriptions (e.g., 1 month).
  • Access granted: when your account is enabled to view paid content, join communities, or download materials.
  • Service credit: a non‑cash credit applied to your account for future invoices.

3) Subscriptions (Monthly / Annual)

  • Auto‑renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. See Account → Billing to cancel at any time.
  • Standard refund window. We provide a 7‑day money‑back guarantee on the first purchase of a subscription plan if you have consumed less than 20% of the course hours included in your plan and have not downloaded premium datasets or certificate resources. Requests must be made within 7 days of the initial charge.
  • Renewals. Charges for renewals are non‑refundable. To avoid renewal charges, cancel before the renewal date. (We may offer a prorated service credit in good faith if our records show no usage after renewal within 48 hours—case‑by‑case.)
  • Upgrades/Downgrades. Plan changes take effect immediately or at the next cycle per your selection. If you upgrade mid‑cycle, the fee difference is charged and is non‑refundable. Downgrades apply from the next cycle.

4) Free Trials & Promotions

  • Trials. If you cancel before a trial ends, you will not be charged. If not cancelled, the paid plan begins automatically and the first charge becomes non‑refundable except under Section 3 (first purchase 7‑day guarantee, usage limits apply).
  • Promotional pricing / coupons. Discounts apply only to the specified term and are not grounds for partial refunds if you later change plans or pricing reverts.

5) Standalone Courses & Bundles

  • Instant access downloads. If a course or bundle includes downloadable materials unlocked at purchase, it is non‑refundable once access is granted.
  • Streaming‑only courses. If no downloads are provided, you may request a refund within 7 days and if you have completed less than 20% of the course content.

6) Live Workshops / Webinars (Virtual Events)

  • Cancellations by you. Full refund available if you cancel 7 days or more before the event start time. Within 7 days, tickets are non‑refundable, but you may request a transfer to a future cohort (subject to availability).
  • Cancellations by us. If we cancel or reschedule and you cannot attend, you may choose a full refund or a credit for a future event.

7) Certificates, Reviews & Add‑Ons

  • Certificates (issuance fee) are non‑refundable once issued.
  • Mentor sessions/project reviews are refundable only if not scheduled/consumed. Missed appointments without timely notice per the session terms are non‑refundable.

8) Service Issues, Outages & SLA Credits

If you experience a material service issue (e.g., multi‑hour platform outage or broken access) that prevents reasonable use for more than 8 consecutive hours during your paid period, contact support. After verification, we may issue a service credit equal to a pro‑rata share of the affected time. Service credits are non‑cash, non‑transferable, and expire after 6 months.


9) How to Request a Refund or Credit

  1. Submit a ticket from Account → Billing → Request refund (preferred) or email billing@polarcenterplus.com with subject “Refund Request”.
  2. Include: purchase email, order ID, product/plan, date of charge, and reason.
  3. We may ask for additional information (e.g., screenshots) to verify eligibility.

Processing times: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days (bank processing may vary). Service credits post to your account within 2 business days after approval.


10) Chargebacks & Disputes

Please contact us first—we can usually resolve issues faster than a card dispute. Filing an unsubstantiated chargeback may result in account suspension while the dispute is investigated. If a chargeback is reversed in our favour, we may reinstate access upon settlement of outstanding amounts.


11) Fraud, Abuse & Policy Misuse

We may refuse refunds or credits in cases of suspected fraud, account sharing, excessive refund requests, or violations of our Terms of Service. Accounts involved may be suspended or terminated.


12) Regional Rights (Canada & International)

  • Canada (PIPEDA & provincial laws). Nothing in this policy limits your non‑waivable consumer rights. Where provincial law (e.g., Quebec consumer protection rules) provides additional rights, those prevail to the extent required.
  • EU/UK. If you are in the EU/UK and purchase digital content to be supplied immediately, you may waive the statutory withdrawal right upon access being granted. If you do not consent to immediate supply, do not access the content until the 14‑day period elapses.
  • California (CCPA). The CCPA governs privacy rights, not refunds; however, your privacy rights remain unaffected by this policy.

13) Price Changes & Taxes

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes based on your billing address. Price changes apply to future periods; we will provide notice where required by law or our Terms.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date and, where appropriate, by email or in‑app notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
